JEFF HO x CHICO STIX
LOVE & HAIGHT
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jeff Ho came north to study at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, fell in love with The City and has been his home for 26 years. His practice spans graphic design, lettering, and illustration, pulling from the visual language of street culture and the rigor of mid-century design.
He works from a single Eames-rooted principle: good design belongs to everyone.
THE FOOL - the design is his love letter to Haight Street.
"Love Haight" up top, a play on love and hate. Underneath, an expressive abstraction of The Fool: the tarot's first traveler, mid-step into the unknown and blissfully going for it. Drawn in the lineage of Fillmore posters with a little whimsy and play.
